The drying time depends on a few different factors, such as the thickness of the plaster and room temperature. Generally, plaster will dry in 3-5 days.

Remove all furniture and other items, if possible. If some items cannot be moved, make sure to cover them over. If the walls have wallpaper, remove it carefully to expose the bare wall or ask a professional to help. Make sure the walls are clean of any cobwebs and pet hair. Make sure that the plasterer has access to a water source.
You can start painting once the plastering is completely dry. This usually takes around 3 to 5 days and dependent on good airflow around the plastered area.
