I found Kennedy Maintenance through Checkatrade after encountering a problem with a large bookshelf I had purchased from Oakland Furniture. Unfortunately, due to the length of the bookshelf, the delivery team was unable to manoeuvre it upstairs. As I had decided to keep the bookshelf, I contacted Kennedy Maintenance to explain the situation and provided photographs to see whether they could assist with dismantling it and getting it upstairs with as little alteration as possible. From the outset, Ashley was extremely helpful, professional and reassuring. He carefully assessed the situation and came up with an excellent solution. The bookshelf was carefully dismantled into two sections and then expertly modified and reassembled using specially adapted metal brackets, coach bolts and additional adhesive support. This created an exceptionally strong and secure join while maintaining the original appearance of the bookshelf. The quality of Ashley’s workmanship was outstanding. The finished result is excellent, and you would never know that the bookshelf had been dismantled and reassembled. The join is virtually invisible, and the bookshelf looks exactly as it should. I am extremely pleased with the work and very grateful to Ashley for his skill, care and attention to detail. Thanks to him, I now have the bookshelf I wanted safely installed in my study. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in highly recommending Kennedy Maintenance. Their professionalism, craftsmanship and willingness to find a practical solution were exceptional. A truly excellent service from start to finish.
Ashleigh fitted our FD30 doors. He had to stay back much later than planned to finish the job and even returned to complete it. He was extremely professional, thorough and very pleasant. Excellent company.
